Copyright
Basics
Copyright applies as soon as a work comes into existence.
It is NOT necessary to formally register for Copyright, but it's a good idea if you want to be able to prove the work is yours easily.
Copyright is International. America, Australia and England, to name but a few, have Copyright agreements. Don't think that being a long way away will allow you to ignore Copyright.
Copyright of a work which belongs to its original author is effective until 50 years after their death (70 years in the US). You may see "Copyright 200x" on my pages. The year is irrelevant in relation to Copyright law.

Additional information
Please note: My images are NOT available for commercial collections of any kind! Hands off!
If you would like to use my images off the web, for example, on your desktop at home, please email me for permission and we can work something out.
When (if) you no longer wish to use my images in your page, please make sure you delete them from your drive. I hate to think of them floating out there unprotected. It's likely, if you have no link to refer to, that you'll forget where you got that image and you may abuse (unintentionally) my copyright rights by using the image inappropriately elsewhere.
Do not link any graphics from my page. Copy them onto your own server.
If you are using a PC
right click on the image
choose 'save as...' from the pop-up menu
save the image into your web directory
If you are using a Mac
click and hold on the image
choose 'save as...' from the popup menu
save the image into your web directory
There are a whole lot of reasons for this, but probably the most important to you is that I change these pages around a lot, and you will end up with a heap of broken images.
All of the images which I have used which are not my own work are
clearly credited as such. Please contact the originators of these
images if you want them. Please do NOT copy them from my pages.
If you see an uncredited image which you know is Copyright someone
else, please let me know and
I will remove it or give credit immediately.
