Apple Sponge

Cook: Adam Raymond

1 cup SR flour
0.5 cup of sugar
0.5 cup butter
0.5 cup milk
1 egg
Hot stewed apple - (lots)

Put flour, sugar in a basin, wet with beaten egg.and milk.
Add flour melt butter and pour over. Beat a few minutes. Pour over hot stewed apple.
Bake about an hour.
