Chocolate Sundae

1 teaspoon cornflour
2 tablespoons cocoa
25g butter
1/3 cup golden syrup
1/4 cup water
4 scoops vanilla ice-cream
chopped walnuts (if liked)

1. Mix cornflour and cocoa powder in a small pan
2. Add butter and syrup
3. Add water
4. Melt all together
5. Stir well simmering gently
6. Put a scoop of ice-cream in 4 dishes
7. Pour some hot sauce on each one
8. Scatter walnuts on top if you like.
