Tex-Mex Layer Dip

Bottom Layer:

  • 1 tin refried beans

I mix them with a little olive oil to make it a bit more spreadable and you can add Tabasco or chilli to taste.

Middle Layer:

  • 1 tub sour cream
  • 1 sachet taco seasoning mix

Mix together and spread across the refried bean layer.

Top Layer:

Avocado dip

  • 1 block Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 2 avocados (or 1 if it is huge!)
  • a little lemon juice to stop it from going brown

Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until combined.

Top the avocado with grated tasty cheese, chopped spring onions and chopped tomato.
