Marinara Sauce 2

1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tsp each of the following:
Dried oregano
Dried basil
Dried minced garlic
Dried minced onion
Marjoram
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1 bay leaf

Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until sauce thickens – usually about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and used as desired for pizza or spaghetti sauce. Be sure to remove the bay leaf before using.

For spaghetti sauce, add 1/2 to 1 pound of lean ground beef, browned and drained. Heat and serve over pasta.
