Greetings! My name is Amanda, Guardian of Compassion.
You have reached the home of the Page Guardians.
Together we guard these pages, and who knows? Sometime soon we may be guarding yours.

Meet the Guardians

Each of the Guardians protects something specific. Please take the time to introduce yourself to each one. When you have met the Guardian who has most impressed you with her virtues, and when you have read and agreed with the documents above, right click her and transport her to your own hard drive.

The Guardians on the dark pages have solid backgrounds. If you click on them, they'll take you to their transparent background counterparts, who also watch over the lists of parents.

There's also a Thumbnails page which includes tiny images of all of the Guardians. This page is quite large.

Adoption Form

Don't forget to fill out adoption form so that you are entered in the lists of guarded pages.

I may visit your page to check on your Guardians, and other people will be able to visit you too. You might like to look around pages that have chosen the same Guardian as you.

I will periodically check all pages. If there is no Guardian, your name will simply be removed from the lists. If, woe betide, you have a Guardian but no link back to me, dire consequences will follow! See my copyright page for more information.

This list will not be used for any other purpose.
The first time you get a message from me will be the next time I create a Guardian.
You will not receive confirmation straight away.

I apologise for generalising my Guardians as female. In references to 'her', please read 'her/him'.

Please note, I am NOT offering the Guardians to sites which contain pornography or cruelty of any kind. If you own this kind of page, please do not take one.

Do not take a Guardian if you do not have a page! Come back when you do.
If you're adopting a Guardian as a gift for someone else, please list their page and ask them nicely to provide the link back to me.

Most of the Guardians now sport my signature symbol. If you see Guardians on other pages without this symbol, don't worry, they were probably adopted before I started using them.

If you have adopted before, and you have noticed that your image is now broken, please read my Basic Instructions to find out why.

If you have adopted a Guardian in the past, and you now find that you are not listed with her adoptive parents, this is because your link was broken. The easiest solution is to enter your information again very carefully into the Adoption Form.
