Star Trek - Murder Mystery
In march, 2002, eight friends got together to play a Star Trek Next Gen How to Host a Murder, 'The Orb of Knowledge'.
Am I going to tell you who did it? No way! Play the game yourself and find out :-) I understand that it's out of print, but I hope you can find it.
Recipes
Murder Mystery games are often most successful when played around an elaborate dinner, so that's just what we did. As one of our players was (is) vegetarian, the entire meal was vegetarian. The recipes were designed with taste, over authenticity, in mind.
Drink:
Romulan ale
Apple mineral water, or non-alcoholic apple cider (well.... mostly
apples)
Blue Curacao
Canapés: Bularian Canapés
Triangle chips (we used corn chips)
Topping (could be anything. Actually we skipped this bit and just
dived into the chips!)
Entree: Fried Targ (hairy, but delicious)
2 whole, small camembert
1 egg
Bread crumbs mixed with dried herbs
Cut the camemberts into quarters. Coat with egg and dip in bread
crumbs.
Shallow fry until golden.
Main: Gagh
Fettuccini with onion, capers, garlic and olive oil
Dessert: Betazoid Chocolate Mousse
We used 'Fudgy Chocolate Mousse' from Stephanie Alexander's big orange cookbook

Great Star Trek recipe sites: Britta Peterson and friends also tackled this mystery. See their great costumes!. |
